Privacy Policy for eimmigration e-Filer

1. Overview

eimmigration e-Filer (“the Extension”) is provided by and is designed to help users complete scheduled immigration forms. The Extension lists the user’s scheduled forms from eimmigration.com and myecms.com; when the user selects a form, it opens the corresponding official e-filing site (e.g., CEAC or USCIS). The user can then click Populate to fill visible fields with data they have approved.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

 

 

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information only when necessary to provide the Extension’s features:

Authentication information
Username and password for your eimmigration.com / myecms.com account, used solely to authenticate you and retrieve your scheduled forms and case form data. Credentials are transmitted securely and are not stored in the extension.

Form data
The caseFormId and case form data retrieved from your account, stored locally via Chrome’s storage API for the purpose of populating your selected e-filing form.

Session token
An authentication token received after signing in, stored locally to maintain your session without requiring repeated logins.

 

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Authenticate your account on eimmigration.com / myecms.com.
• Retrieve and display your scheduled forms.
• Populate supported e-filing sites with your approved case form data.

 

 

We do not:

• Sell your data.
• Share your data with third parties except as required to perform the requested service.
• Collect browsing history or unrelated personal content.

 

 

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Your information is shared only:

• With our own secure servers at eimmigration.com / myecms.com for authentication and data retrieval.
• If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

 

 

5. Data Storage and Retention

• Local storage: caseFormId, case form data, and session token are stored in your browser’s extension storage until you clear it or uninstall the extension.

6. Security

We use HTTPS for all communications between the Extension and our servers. Authentication credentials are transmitted securely and are not stored by the extension. Remote JavaScript retrieved from our own servers is served over HTTPS and is owned and controlled by us.

 

 

7. User Control

You can:

• Remove stored data at any time by clearing the Extension’s data in Chrome settings.
• Uninstall the Extension at any time to stop all data collection.

 

 

8. Changes to This Policy
