Cerenade eForms Solutions with Laserfiche Connectivity

 Fill, Annotate, Sign, email and Save electronic forms to your hard disk or to Laserfiche.
Client-side filler is FREE and supports Windows OS, Mac OS, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape and Safari browsers.

Cerenade offers four (3) products for its seamless integration with Laserfiche:

1. Cerenade FormsServer is a web portal for publishing Cerenade forms to the web.
   Cerenade FormsServer is fully integrated with Laserfiche-web.  Users can open, complete, sign and save the form locally.  Once ready to save the form to Laserfiche user clicks the "Save to Laserfiche" button and the form and data is saved to the Laserfiche on the server.  The entire process is web-based and there are no installations on the client PC - no files of any kind will be installed.

2. Cerenade Filler is a client-side application that provides users with the ability to Fill, Save, Print, Spell-check, Annotate, email, Submit and Save to Laserfiche. Cerenade Filler runs on-line as well as off-line. The “Save to Laserfiche” option saves the form to the Laserfiche.

Related Issues

1. At some point during the creation of the form, the form designer marks a few of the fields on the form as the "Index Fields".  Index Fields are used when extracting data from the form in order to save to Laserfiche.

2. As the form is being created, the form designer must keep in mind that the form must be associated with a Laserfiche template.  This work involves setting a keyword in the form.
Once done, the form record can be properly saved into a Laserfiche template.  If not done, Cerenade solution will use the index fields associated with the form to auto-build a Laserfiche template.  The template is auto-built only once - the very first time the form is saved.  Second and subsequent "Save to" Laserfiche commands will use the same template.

3. What is an E-application? Complex forms can be broken into smaller, logical, smart and interview screens.  User is then guided from one screen to the next based on his/her input. Data on each interview screen is validated before user is allowed to the next screen.  At the end of this process user can preview, print, efile and save to Laserfiche the real form pre-populated with data from all of the interview screens.  This process is called an E-application as opposed to an E-form.  E-application to E-forms is what TurboTax is to Tax Forms.
