Configuring Internet Explorer Browser Security Settings for EIMMIGRATION

Your Internet Explorer browser's security settings should be configured properly in order for EIMMIGRATION pages to display and work properly.  The security settings to configure are:

• Allow Signed ActiveX controls to be downloaded
• Allow Scripting of ActiveX controls marked safe
• Allow ActiveX controls to run within the browser
• Set EIMMIGRATION.COM as a Trusted Site

Please continue with the following step-by-step instructions to properly configure these Security Settings:

1) Open Internet Explorer

2) Select Tools from the Menu Bar

3) Click on "Internet Options"

4) Move to the "Security" tab

5) Highlight "Trusted Sites"

6) Click the "Sites" button

7) Type "https://www.eimmigration.com" and click the "Add" button

    NOTE: use HTTPS (with an "S") and not HTTP

8) Click the "Close" button, and you are back to the "Internet Options Security" screen

9) Click the "Custom level" button

    Under Windows Vista

    Scroll down, locate and enable the following setting:

•     "Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without..."

Under non-Vista Windows

    Scroll down, locate and enable the following settings:

•     "Download signed ActiveX controls"
•     "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins"
•     "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting"
